Above you will see the original version of a lovely, rusty old wreck that was photographed today during one of Denise Ippolito’s numerous workshops that are planned during her visit to the Toronto area. This morning the weather conditions could not have been better as we were presented with lots of fog and some rain and drizzle to help saturate the colors of the rusted old wrecks we were photographing. Denise will also be presenting her “A Blend of Art & Nature Photography” lecture for the Toronto Digital Photography Club on Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm at the Edithvale Community Centre in North York. To find out more about how to sign up for the lecture, please click here.
Below you will see the various creative renditions I conjured up using various photoshop plug-ins. Each of the image captions will inform you of the software used to create the effect as presented. Please remember to click on each of the images to see the larger, sharper versions. Also, please take a moment to let us know which is your favorite of these renditions.
Andrew these are excellent. I have to say though that I think yoor original is my favorite although the B&W version is a close second. I haven’t even processed my images from that terrific workshop with Denise.
Much thanks Edith the original version is my fave too. It was awesome when the fog rolled in.
Andrew, It was great to spend some more time photographing with you and everyone else. The fog made the day special. I love all the versions but will have to go with the original too π
Thanks Denise. It was great to see you again and to photograph in the field with you. Have a blast in Old Car City π
I, too like the original and the B&W is a close second!
Thanks very much Marsha
I really like the first one! The second one is nice too with the all of the detailed texture!
Thanks Michael the first one is my personal favorite of these variations too.
The first one is my favourite, the colours are great. The fog really adds another dimension to this image as well, nice work Andrew!
It was a real special morning when the rain let up and the fog began to roll in…gave the settings a whole new feeling…much thanks!
