The above artistic rendering of a small waterfall located along the Nottawasaga River near Orangeville, Ontario was created using the Photoshop plug-in Topaz Simplify, which is available from Topaz Labs. I visited this waterfall a few years ago and have had the image sitting on the back-burner ever since. This evening I decided it was time to optimize the image file and play around with creating a painterly-like version of it as well. Below you will see the original version of this lovely, secluded waterfall.

Simply beautiful!! Love the falls.
Much appreciated Denise!
Beautifully done Andrew.
Thanks very much Edith!
I love these
Thanks very much
Nicely done Andrew. Scott’s falls was one of my favourite places around the Orangeville area that I live in, I had visited them off and on for thirty odd years, unfortunately the land owners are not quite as generous/tolerant as they used to be. This falls and the other prettier falls a quarter mile upstream are on private property. Two years ago the owners posted many “No trespassing” notices and blocked all the pathways to the area citing over use and impacts to the native environment. Its a real shame that most now don’t get to see this wonderful place. Your picture shows just how beautiful the place is, so I may have to sneak back in one day soon just for the wonder of seeing and photographing them again.
Thanks John, appreciate the updated info
